Valley Stewardship Network’s Ben Johnston, our GIS and Habitat Specialist, will discuss how to identify and count birds at your backyard birdfeeder. Ways to improve backyard bird-feeding stations will also be discussed. Participants will also learn how to participate in the worldwide initiative: the Great Backyard Bird Count that takes place February 16th – 19th. The presentation is great for children and families. People of all ages are welcome. No registration is necessary. This program is presented in partnership with the McIntosh Memorial Library.
